Kate Upton has landed the most highly coveted gig for all fashion models - she has graced the cover of Vogue..

The 20-year-old flaunts her curves on the front of the June 2013 issue wearing a print bathing suit and strappy high-heel sandals with tousled hair and fuller eyebrows. In the magazine's cover interview, Upton spoke to writer Lizzie Widdicombe about the criticism she has received for her curves in a modeling industry where her most successful counterparts are very thin.

"The things that they're rejecting are things that I can't change. I can't change my bra size," Upton told Vogue. "They're natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can't change some things. I really just live my life.

"I love my body. It's what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great."

Upton addressed comments made about her in the press, including one in a New York Times article where a casting director for Victoria's Secret said she looks like a "footballer's wife." 

"It's kind of funny to think, Oh, wow, the news is talking about whether I'm fat or not," Upton said.

Upton previously appeared in the covers of Britain's Vogue UK, Vogue Italia and inside an editorial spread of Vogue's November 2012 issue. The Florida-raised model shot to fame when she performed a sexy hip-hop dance routine that was posted on YouTube and went viral following millions of page views.

Upton was a sexy snow bunny for the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue this year. The highly coveted spot is the second for the Florida model - she appeared on the cover of the annual edition last year.

Maxim released its Hot 100 list on Thursday and Upton came in at No. 8.

Vogue's June 2013 issue will arrive on newsstands on May 21.
