Halloween hasn't even arrived yet, but the official ad leaks for Black Friday 2016 have begun, and the first companies to have their ads made available online appear to be a hardware store and a discount bookstore chain. 

Both Half Price Books and Harbor Freight Tools have leaked their ads online, offering ll sorts of discounted products throughout both Thanksgiving and Black Friday, with both not planning to open the doors of their physical stores until Friday morning, at 9 a.m. and 7 a.m. respectively.  

Harbor Freight Tools will offer discounts up to 87 percent on top items in their stores, with three big deals including the Pittsburgh Rapid Pump 3 Ton Heavy Duty Steel Floor Jack for $67.88, a Chicago Electric 12" Sliding Compound Double-Bevel Miter Saw With Laser Guide System for $129.99, and a Haul Master 17 ft. Type I A Multi-Task Ladder for $99.99.  

Half Price Books meanwhile released their holiday gift guide, which advertised their Black Friday deal of 20 percent off everything, as well as the first 100 shoppers in stores receiving a tote bag and $5.00 gift card, with one lucky shopper getting a $100 gift card in their bag.  

Items advertised in their gift guide are varied, and could appeal to almost anyone on a gift list, including Adult Coloring Books for $7.99, A first edition of The Descent of Man by Charles Darwin  for $20,000 (if you're able to spend that much), journals, gifts and writing utensils, and several novels, including George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones, Paula Hawkins' The Girl On The Train, Faithful by Alice Hoffman, and Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks. 

The guide also features themed gifts for fans of classic music and The Beatles, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Star Wars.
