Pixar has revealed release dates for two of its most anticipated movie sequels!

Pixar fans have been desperately waiting for an announcement on when Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2 will be released, and that time has finally come. The company revealed Wednesday that The Incredibles 2 will come out on June 15, 2018 while Toy Story 4 will be released on June 21, 2019.

It's been some time since we've seen Woody and Buzz onscreen, as well as the Incredibles family. Toy Story 3 was released in 2010 while The Incredibles came out all the way back in 2004.

John Lasseter, who directed the first two Toy Story movies, is set to direct the fourth installment in the series, which is said to delve into a whole new chapter of our heroes' lives.

"We love these characters so much; they are like family to us," Lasseter said, via Disney.com. "We don't want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what's gone before. 'Toy Story 3' ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie-and I wanted to direct it myself."

Brad Bird is returning to direct the second Incredibles movies, and was just a cryptic yet much more brief about what fans should expect.

"It'll be more Incredibles. I'm not going to give up anything! I come down on the side of surprise," he said.

Meanwhile, Pixar is working on two other films before either of these tentpole films will be released. Cars 3 is set to come out on June 16, 2017, while Coco, a film centered on the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, will be released Nov. 22, 2017.
