While most shoppers are preparing and gearing themselves up for big discounts on Black Friday Weekend, others are taking advantage right now on offers being given by major retailers on hot items, including appliances for the home, as well as several other great items.  

Deals on appliances have gone live at most retailers, with nearly all offering 40 percent off select ones, including Best Buy, Lowe's, hhgregg and The Home Depot, while Sears has begun its Black Friday Now sale which will take place through Nov. 4, and offers discounts throughout the store.  

The sale at Sears has featured doorbusters for a limited time only online, and could be a hint at some of the things the retailer will offer when they reveal their actual plans for Black Friday itself.
