They haven't outright confirmed rumors they were planning to marry by the end of this year, but a new report is indicating that is exactly what is in the cards for Blake Shelton ans Gwen Stefani, and that the two are already in the final stages of planning their affair.

According to Us Weekly, the pair are already "starting to finalize" wedding arrangements, meaning their reported goal of marrying "before the end of the year" is much more likely.

"They've met with vendors," a source told the publication.

The news comes on the heels of Stefani opening up in Glamour's December issue about her marriage to Gavin Rossdale ending last year, in addition to her unexpectedly finding new love with Shelton.

"Sometimes to be woken up again in life, you need to go through some really bad, hard times," she said in the interview. "I feel like I got woken up this year."

She also admitted that when her marriage broke apart after 13 years she felt like a "failure."

"The intention of being married is the vow, right?" She said, also mentioning how her own parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary. "You want to put everything into it to make it a success."

Her marriage to Rossdale ended reportedly because she learned he had cheated on her with their children's nanny, Mindy Mann, for three years, though Stefani has never publicly discussed what exactly went wrong with the relationship.

As for her new romance with Shelton, Stefani echoed sentiments she shared before about how she never expected to find love with him, nor did she expect love to bloom when the pair became friends as they bonded over their respective divorces (Shelton had divorced from Miranda Lambert last July).

"He was a friend when I needed a friend," she said. "An unexpected gift."
