Kmart has been known for courting controversy each year for their Black Friday ads, which usually show that the discount retailer opens their stores at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving Morning before briefly closing to start a new sale later that night, but this year's ad may be suggesting something completely different.

The Black Friday ad which was leaked does show the retailer still opening at 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Night, similar to years past, but makes no mention of deals being offered earlier on Thanksgiving Day, something that they became synonymous with in recent years, ever since announcing plans to open at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving Day back in 2013.

However, an ad for Thanksgiving Day sales is still possible, as the company also had a separate ad for Black Friday deals last year as well.

Regardless of whether or not the company is changing their tune when it comes to what time they will be open and offering sales, they will have several doorbusters designed to encourage shoppers to come into their stores.
