Apart from its various magnetic creations, Apple has also been known to bring out the stories of various traditional magnetizers in the form of documentary to cast the spell of old blues with a blend of the new standpoints. And, in a similar quest the company has now turned to bring out its next documentary about the cultural impact of the Roland TR-808 drum machine on December 9. The film. titled as "808", will release exclusively on Apple Music platform on the said date.     

According to Cnet, the documentary will be framed to revisit the prolonged history of the 808 drum machine and its influence from time to time. Its impact on the changing trends of music will be traced by this creative motion.  It's narrated by Apple Music's own Beats 1 DJ, Zane Lowe, and features a variety of interviews with the likes of Questlove, Rick Rubin, Afrika Bambaataa and more others

As per The Verge, the instrument, despite being discontinued currently, has elaborated long traces of the musical developments and instruments of modern times. It was actually long drawn favorite among top level musicians since its advent in 1980. The instrument has been praised by greatest ever artists like Pharrell Williams, David Guetta, Phil Collins, and Lil' Jon on camera. The movie originally made its debut in 2014 and has shown at varied film festivals since then. But now  Apple's streaming deal gives it exclusive access to a hip bit of musical history.

Remarkably, the doc was also premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2015. Apple is much hopeful for dense viewers impact over this musical saga on their platform. The announcement of unveiling it exclusively was recently done by the company on its official Beats 1 YouTube channel. '808' will debut on December 9, 2016, as an Apple Music exclusive.
