Chrissy Teigen is getting refreshingly honest about the realities of celebrities' post-baby bodies.

Teigen arguably has one of the more enviable post-pregnancy bodies in Hollywood, quickly bouncing back to her regular weight after having her and husband John Legend's first child, Luna Simone Stephens, in April. But the often blunt model is now warning against thinking these quick celebrity bounce-backs are the norm.

Speaking with Today this week, Teigen noted that most celebrities have a team to assist with the baby while the mother tries to get back in shape.

"Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything," she said. "So I think people get this jaded sensation that everybody's losing it so quickly, but we just happen to be the ones who are out there."

The model, who is also the co-host on Spike's Lip Sync Battle, listed off the help that many celebrities have, including nutritionists, dietitians, trainers and nannies.

"We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that's normal, or like that's realistic," Teigen warned.

Teigen also talked about postpartum depression as a reality that doesn't get discussed often enough.

"I think a lot of the mood stuff that happens afterwards isn't really talked about, whether it's postpartum depression or really just, for me, some days, I wouldn't know how to cope with work and juggle things and still have time for a husband life," she said.

She added that her own happiness during her pregnancy made the decline that much darker.

"I was slightly cursed by having such a great pregnancy and being so happy and having so much energy, that just the decline of all those endorphins, and all the prenatals and everything I was on and how healthy I was, naturally made my mood change," she said. "There were periods where you get super dark."

Yet, even in those dark periods, there is light. She said that Legend has quickly taken to being a father.

"Whatever this father-daughter relationship is, it starts so quickly because I thought they grew into being Daddy's girls," Teigen said. "No, it was the second she came out."
