In the previous seasons of Game of Thrones, it was revealed that Cersei (Lena Headey) received a prophecy when she was a little girl. It was prophesized that she will become queen and that all of her children will die. There was also a prophecy that she will be defeated by a "younger and more beautiful" queen.

According to Inquisitr, there were speculations that this younger queen might be Sansa (Sophie Turner). In the past, it was speculated that this might Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) after marrying her sons. However, when she died in Game of Thrones Season 6, the spotlight turned to other possible characters in the show.

There were also speculations that this queen might be Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). By the end of Game of Thrones Season 6, the mother of dragons was headed to Westeros to claim the throne with her army. It was said that Khaleesi and Cersei might face off in Game of Thrones Season 7.

Despite that, many still believe that it may be Sansa as she holds a lot of grudge against Cersei since the death of her father. It was also speculated that Sansa will go home to Winterfell where she will rule while her brother Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is on a mission to defeat the White Walkers.

On other news, International Business Times reported that Ellie Kendrick teased about her character Meera's fate in Game of Thrones Season 7. Talking to MTV, Kendrick revealed that Meera is now Bran's (Isaac Hempstead Wright) protector.

She added that Meera thinks that it is her duty to support and protect Bran at all costs. She explained that the urge to protect Bran actually flows in her blood as her family has always been loyal to the Starks. She also did not confirm if Meera and Bran are heading to Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 7.

As of writing HBO is yet to confirm the official premiere ate of Game of Thrones Season 7. It is expected to air sometime in 2017.
