Angelina Jolie is facing some potentially explosive new allegations about her potential motives for filing for sole custody of her six children with Brad Pitt as the pair prepares to divorce.

According to TMZ, Jolie has had a motive for trying to keep Pitt from winning joint custody of their kids-Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne-and it's one she's been working on for a while.

Sources told the website  that she wants to move to London with all the kids and get a top position within the U.N., and she's been looking for an reason to end her marriage and get the dream job for more than a year, knowing that it'd be impossible for her to get what she wants if Pitt were to get joint custody.

Her goal, one which is being orchestrated by allegedly one member of England's House of Lords and another U.K. government official, is to prove that Pitt is somehow an unfit parent, who will only get visitation rights, so she can move to London and become Secretary General of the U.N. if she plays things right,

The sources maintain that Jolie told the Department of Child and Family Services that Pitt had struck Maddox on a private jet and done other things which endangered the welfare of their children in the hopes it would work in her favor-but Pitt's strong denials and the lack of abuse found in investigations by both the DCFS and FBI have torpedoed those claims.

Her rep denied that there is any such plan in place and Jolie does not intend to move to London at all, and instead wants to continue therapy with both the kids and her ex-husband. For now, the custody war is headed to family court, with Jolie still requesting sole physical custody and Pitt requesting joint.
