The biggest search engine company; Google will be launching two smartwatches during the Consumers Electronics Show (CES) next year. The said devices might arrive featuring Android Wear 2.0 and other amazing specs.

According to Top Tech News, Android Wear Head Jeff Chang stated that the company will be announcing new wearables in 2017. Unluckily, he had failed to mention when and where the publication of the device will be held. But then, there are speculations that the Smartwatches are going to be launched at CES 2017, but this might be quite impossible as the company usually announces wearables during the same time when the company is going to reveal the descendant of the Pixel lineup.

Additionally, Techvicity stated in its report that the new smartwatches will sport an exclusive collaborative design feature. Chang also confirmed that the new watches would not carry Google or Pixel branding which has been in contrast with earlier news of a Pixel smartwatch. The biggest search engine will be partnering with another manufacturer whose identity was not confirmed in the interview. But then it is known that the unidentified third-party designer had previously worked with Google.

The upcoming Smartwatches from Google will be the first members of the Android Wear 2.0 family. But once the OS is released all current Android Wear watches will be updated to the same firmware. The new Smartwatch platform will offer a bunch of new features which include standalone apps which are independent of the phones. It will also bring updated support for Android Pay as well as for Google's voice-controlled Assistant, which has already been released for the Pixel smartphones and Home speakers. Chang also affirmed that despite some differences between Wear 2.0 on Android and iOS, Android Pay will work across both platforms.

As the upcoming smartwatches from Google will be engineered with Android Wear 2.0 it really seems that it will be having a lot of new features to enjoy. Moreover, the exact release date of the device is yet to be confirmed by the company.
