HTC's upcoming device One X10 recently obtained a certification from Bluetooth SIG which might indicate that its launch is getting near. This device is anticipated to feature a huge 3GB of RAM and 13-megapixel camera.

According to Tech Times, a device was recently certified by Bluetooth SIG carrying model number 2PYR1XX. Nonetheless, the listing does not specify a device name that would confirm that this handset is the HTC One X10.

But then, there are some clues in the model number hinting that this might be the upcoming phone from the Taiwanese tech company. The last part of the model number, precisely the "1XX" part, could stand for One, X and 10 written as a Roman numeral. If this would be precise, the 1XX would translate to One X10.

When it comes with the specs, Softpedia noted that the HTC One X10 might be equipped with 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Moreover, the rear snapper will come with autofocus, optical image stabilization, LED flash and 4k recording whereas the UltraPixel secondary camera positioned in the front had a 5MP capacity.

The HTC One X10 might also boast a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It might be engineered with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 2 GHz that is coupled with Mali T-860 graphics processing unit. Lastly, it might be powered by a 3,000 mAH capacity battery.

When it comes to pricing, the midrange HTC One X10 is anticipated to cost roughly $288 when it became available in the market. This basically makes it an affordable device less than half the price of high-end flagships.

HTC is predicted to hold an event on January 12, which may mean that the HTC One X10 might actually be announced then. This occasion is scheduled several days after the CES 2017 ends. Since the One X10 already received the Bluetooth SIG certification, this speculation about the release date might be proven to be true.
