OnePlus has released OxygenOS Beta 9 for OnePlus 3 a few weeks ago and now the Chinese tech company has rolled out OxygenOS Beta 10. The said firmware that is based on Android 7.0 Nougat will bring a handful of minor enhancements and improvements to the smartphone.

According to Tech Times, the OxygenOS Open Beta 10 will be adding a few minor new features and enhancements to the OnePlus 3. But then, this update is not the stable version of Android 7.0 Nougat that OnePlus assured would be rolled out to the smartphone before this year ends.

When it comes with the new features, Android Community noted that the OxygenOS Beta 10 will bring to OnePlus 3 handsets. Among the improvements is the addition of a Data Saver feature that will help in maximizing cost savings on browsing and other data connected processes.

The firmware build also fixed a number of bugs from the preceding version. This includes the bug with the clock in portrait mode and the phone returning back to the default theme after reboot.

The OxygenOS Open Beta 10 also include optimizations to the speed of unlocking the OnePlus 3 using the fingerprint scanner, the quality of expanded screenshot, the strength of Wi-Fi connections, and the overall battery consumption and system performance.

Additionally, here are some reminders in updating to OxygenOS Beta 10. This firmware update is through over-the-air and if the users are new to this Open Beta build, they will need to flash this via ADB. OnePlus stated that the user's data might carry over, but then there is still a possibility of losing data, so it is recommended to back-up the files.

With the release of OxygenOS Beta 10 for OnePlus 3, it seems that the promised Android Nougat release might not be fulfilled as the end of the year is approaching. But still, OnePlus might surprise its patrons so it is advised to still keep an eye for announcements.
