With the 2017 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) event now underway, PC gaming fans are now waiting in anticipation for Nvidia to finally unveil their newest gaming graphics card, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti. Rumors and leaks about the latest GPU have been constantly popping up online for the past few weeks. It only indicates that Nvidia may already be on the brink of releasing it.

According to a report from PC & Tech Authority, Nvidia will likely be unveiling the long-awaited GTX 1080 Ti during the event, where it is slated to hold a Keynote event. Nvidia's co-founder, Jen-Hsun Huang, is expected to be hosting the keynote.

So, he may want to show off something new to those in attendance. Even Nvidia's own website teases that there will be something big that will be announced during the event. And the launch of the GTX 1080 Ti will certainly fit the bill.

Several reports have been constantly speculating the possible specs of the new graphics card, but no official details have yet been revealed. However, the GPU is expected to offer a level of performance that is far greater than that of the Titan X. The big bonus with the GTX 1080 Ti is that it could be offered at a significantly lower price that the Titan X.

Based on the leaked listings on Zauba and via the leaked Linkedin post, some of the confirmed specs for the new GTX 1080 Ti includes a 384 Bit Bus, a GP102 Core Base, and a 10GB VRAM configuration. Aside from that, not much is yet known about its base performance, its power consumption numbers, or more importantly its price tag.

Seeing as that most of the reports and clues are pointing to a CES launch of the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, fans just have to be patient as Nvidia as a company rarely disappoints.
