Reportedly, a very recent update to the iOS version of WhatsApp brings with it some additional improvements to the messaging platform. The update is an application that carries with it the capability to queue messages for sending while offline.

Multiple messages can be queued up in the offline mode, so users are free to carry on their side of a conversation until connection resumes. And once a connection has been established, the messages will be sent so that users will not have to worry about forgetting to reply, which could be annoying to the person waiting for an answer.

It has been told that the ability to queue messages while offline feature has actually been available on Android devices for quite a while now. Apparently, it looks like it has finally been released for the iOS version of WhatsApp so that users can now enjoy the benefits the update brings.

It has also been rumored that the version 2.17.1 of WhatsApp for iOS, in addition to the offline message queuing system, also introduces an overhauled storage usage screen that allows users to have better storage management and sharing improvements. It will provide additional space on the devices by removing certain types of messages, like videos. Apparently, the number of photos and videos that can be shared at once has been increased from 10 to 30, and users can also manage storage on a conversation by conversation basis.

To sum it all, apparently the following tasks can now be readily undertaken: 1) even without a connection a tap on send will automatically queue messages and will be sent once a connection is regained, 2) redesigned storage usage screen allows management of the phone's storage space by clearing certain message types, like videos, from specific chats, and 3) 30 photo or videos at once can be sent at once.
