This Nintendo NES Classic Edition guide includes two important hacks that are very useful to the owners of the new console. Hackers recently discovered the newest way to load hundreds of games on the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. The game console originally arrives with 30 preloaded games.

Nintendo Life reported earlier in January 2017 that the hackers has found a means to double the initial game lineup of the Nintendo NES Classic Edition from 30 to 60, after this more players has attempted to boost the functionality of the console and eventually found a hack that allows them to access over 700 games in the console. This means that the full official library of the Nintendo NES Classic Edition might be loaded and enjoyed by all people.

According to Cinema Blend, YouTuber TootyUK has shared a video on how he has successfully loaded hundreds of games on his Nintendo NES Classic Edition. In the video, TootyUK can be seen using Hakchi 2.11, which allow him to use full ROM zip files from all parts of the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. He further explains on how to patch various games into the console, which required a lot of kennel dumping, loading, editing and selections. The whole setup took about 20 minutes, but the average user can take the longer to load all the games.

Based on the video, Nintendo NES Classic Edition players can choose which games they wish to load from the library. It may take longer to load the complete library. After TootyUK successfully patched the games, he has browsed through the library that presented cover images of the different game titles on the Nintendo NES Classic Edition. He also experienced a couple of games to prove that these actually work on the console.

The device was originally meant to have 30 games only. In spite of that fact, the manufacturers has  expected tech savvy people to get their hands dirty and hack the NES Classic thus the secret message from the Hanafuda Captain. Hacking the mini NES to add more games may bork the device and with the NES Classic's scarcity, it wouldn't be wise to let one bork.

The NES Classic Edition hack does not require one to open the console itself , although, It only requires that one connects the console to a PC using a USB cable, which is explained in the tutorial video below.
