Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson crashed a wedding on Memorial Day weekend, People reported on Sunday.

The Part of Me singer and Pattinson watched from the back of a courtyard at San Ysidros ranch, as a strangers pre-ceremony preparations took place on Sunday afternoon. Perry was described as wearing a hoodie and big sunglasses. The pair enjoyed each other's company and were spotted sitting side-by-side.

"There was no PDA between them and no body language that showed they were dating. They just sat together and watched," a source said.

Pattinson and Perry spending time together followed reports that the pop singer disapproved of his previous relationship with actress Kristen Stewart. Life & Style reported in its current issue that Perry encouraged the Twilight actor to dump his girlfriend of more than three years.

A source told the magazine that the Wide Awake singer never supported Pattinson's relationship with Stewart after she cheated on him in the summer of 2012 with her Snow White and the Huntsman, director Rupert Sanders. Stewart issued a statement and apologized for the hurt she caused Pattinson.

"Katy told Rob she didn't think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal," an insider said. "And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family [like Rupert's]."

Pattinson and Stewart's second breakup was announced earlier this month and sources said that he has leaned heavily on Perry. The source added that Perry has always been a support system for the British actor and that Perry's first loyalty was always to him. Perry and Stewart appeared together at the Kids Choice Awards in March. However, the magazine reported that Perry was secretly trying to convince Pattinson to break off the rekindled relationship.

"Katy never really supported Rob's decision to get back with Kristen," the source said. "She liked Kristen, but ultimately she's loyal to Rob and wants what's best for him."
