Lenovo has just now unveiled the highly-awaited follow-up to its relatively successful Miix 310 laptop released last year, aptly called the Lenovo Miix 320. The brand new 2-in-1 hybrid tablet laptop brings with it a myriad of new improvements over its predecessor, but somehow Lenovo has managed to incorporate it all in an affordable $199 package.

According to Laptop Mag, the new Lenovo Miix 320 hybrid laptop has been built with an overall better quality than the previous generation device. Aside from the better quality materials, the new Windows 10-based device also sports some interesting new features that aren't really common at its price point.

The new Lenovo Miix 320 comes with the same 10.1-inch display, but instead of the 1280 x 800-pixel resolution display as with the older model, the new device now comes with a Full HD display that has a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. A myriad of new input ports have also now been included, namely two USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, and an HMDI port.

A report from Paste Magazine reveals that the 2-in-1 device apparently comes with a more powerful and efficient processor, in the form of an Intel Atom X5 chip paired with Intel HD graphics. The Lenovo Miix 320 comes with an increased amount of RAM, which users will be able to option with up to 4 GB of DDR3 memory. The Lenovo Miix 320 is offered with a 128 GB solid state drive and a sim-card slot with full LTE capabilities.

Sticking with one of the best features of the older Lenovo Miix 310, the new Lenovo Miix 320 will still reportedly come with the same amazing 10-hour battery life. The new Miix 320 is also much more portable, thanks to its lighter weight compared to the previous generation of Miix. The Lenovo Miix 320 is scheduled to be released in spring. A Windows Active Pen-capable version is set to be released in July.
