Morrisville-based technology company, Lenovo, has just unveiled its successor to last year's 2-in-1 device, dubbed as Lenovo Miix 320. The new gadget was showcased at the annual event Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday, Feb. 27.

The Lenovo Miix 320 is neither a tablet nor a laptop, according to The Verge. It is a hybrid device that has the capabilities to perform tasks that are strictly for tablets and laptops, hence the term 2-in-1.

Fans who'd like to use the Lenovo Miix 320 can simply just remove the detachable keyboard and use the touch screen. PC World has noted that this new device from the company might actually outperform Google's Chromebook in the market in terms of quality.

Another feature that Lenovo promoted on its latest device is the highly improved precision trackpad. This feature, as said on PC World, can recognize additional swiping and touching gestures that can be used to navigate through Microsoft's Windows 10. In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Miix 320 comes with a 10.1-inch full HD display screen, as said on Droid Report. It has a standard amount of Random Access Memory (RAM), which is 4 GB, and 128 GB of internal storage capacity.

As for the processor, it seems like Lenovo hasn't changed the chip that the new device uses. The Verge said that Lenovo Miix 320 still has the same System on Chip, Intel Atom X5, which is also present inside the previous iteration.

Two networks are currently being planned to be released for the Lenovo Miix 320: LTE and Non-LTE versions. The former is said to come out sometime in April, followed by the latter in July. Unfortunately, no specific launch dates were announced by the company at the MWC 2017. More updates about the matter should surface soon.

The price for the Lenovo Miix 320 2-in-1 hybrid is being expected to start at $199. It is at the same price range as Google's Chromebook, said on The Verge.
