Samsung's Galaxy Note line of flagship has received a tremendous negative hit with last year's Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Despite what's happened, though, a lot of tech enthusiasts are still hopeful for the future of the brand, particularly the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Many rumors and speculations have recently surfaced online suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may come with a lot of improvements under its hood. One, in particular, is the battery that the South Korean-based tech giant would use for the upcoming smartphone.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come equipped with a much bigger and better battery, as said on Droid Report. This prediction sounds very much likely to happen, considering that Samsung would probably want to regain the trust of some of its loyal consumers.

It seems like this one may actually have a chance of happening - if the company ever decides to create Samsung Galaxy Note 8. According to BGR, the South Korean government has already stepped in to investigate the exploding battery incident that happened with the Note 7.

It was stated in the report that companies will have to renew the battery certificates of its future smartphones. Judging by what was written, it's safe to presume that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would be included in this new regulation.

In terms of specification, rumors have it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might come with either a Quad HD display resolution or 4K. PC Advisor reported that the circulating speculations strongly believe it could be the latter.

As for its chip, the rumor mill has suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may run using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 System on Chip (SoC). There is also a chance that the company will use its in-house chipset, the next-generation Exynos 8895M. Regardless of the SoC, the smartphone/tablet hybrid is going to sport at least 64 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM.

It should be noted that these specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are still subject for confirmation. That being said, it's advisable to take this one with a pinch of salt.
