"Samurai Jack" is back, and better than ever. It has been over a decade since fans last saw a glimpse of Jack. Season 4 of the series ended with Jack venturing out to find the evil master of darkness, Aku. However, "Samurai Jack" season 5 did not happen after that and Cartoon Network pulled the plug on the highly acclaimed series.

Now, Adult Swim has taken up the rights to airing "Samurai Jack" season 5, and this has put the show into a newfound energy, with animators, story writers working hard together to give the best taste to the wandering samurai's tale. However, "Samurai Jack" season 5 would be the last season.

Since the show has landed in the hands of Adult Swim, this has given the creators of the show freedom to choose their art style. Cartoon Network embraced the family friendly scheme in cartoons, but with Adult Swim, Samurai Jack can be violent and gory. 

In "Samurai Jack" season 5, fifty years have passed, but according to Jack, it hasn't made him a day older, meaning he might be an immortal, It might be a side effect of time travel. In the trailer, fans see a Jack who has lost hope of returning to the past.

In the first episode of "Samurai Jack" season 5, viewers see much action, as now the Samurai is without his magical sword, but is using a plethora of weapons at his disposal. These weapons include a powerful gun and a pitchfork.

In the first episode of "Samurai Jack" season 5, fans can also see the despair of Jack and the memories that haunt him. He constantly has visions of his family, accusing him of leaving them and having forgotten his purpose.

Fans also see the daughters of Aku, who have been bred with the sole purpose of defeating Samurai Jack. Apart from this, the ending half of the episode pits the samurai against a robotic assassin, who claims to be "Aku's favorite assassin." The first episode has been explosive enough to ensure the last journey of Samurai Jack would be a memorable one.
