LG has finally made a true flagship phone. 2016's LG G5 was not a flagship and instead, the LG V20 was seen as a proper LG flagship. While the V30 is still on the design whiteboard, LG has dropped the 18:9 aspect ratio G6, which according to most, is a gorgeous take on smartphone design.

The G6 comes with all the bells and whistles a proper 2017 flagship is supposed to have, including a dual lens camera setup, a fingerprint scanner, and an all metal or glass body.

What sets it apart from the common crowd of smartphones is its 18:9 aspect ratio screen with curved corners. This has given the G6 a unique look and a massive 78% screen-to-body ratio, and people are flocking to see it firsthand.

LG G6 news also shed light on the phone's hardware. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, a decent 3300 mAh battery, IP68 water and dust resistance and also dual 13MP camera setup along with 3x carrier aggregation.

LG G6 rumors suggest that the phone will be arriving in US and Canada markets at least three weeks before the Galaxy S8 is launched into the market, giving the LG flagship more than enough time to make its mark on the flagship territory.

As for LG G6 rumors about when it will be available in western markets, Evan Blass posted on Twitter that April 7 is the date when LG G6 is officially launched in the United States. In Canada as well, the LG G6 might come on April 7 and would be released to the following carriers: Bell, Koodo Mobile, TELUS, Videotron, Virgin Mobile, Rogers, Eastlink, Fido and Freedom Mobile.

LG G6 rumors suggest that the phone that would be sold in Canada would be the one without the wireless charging. Other than that all the phones would be identical. Preorders for the LG G6 in Canada have begun on March 15.
