The popular 24-year old actress and singer, Selena Gomez, has once again revealed her intention of staying away from the limelight and perhaps even going to yet another self-imposed exile from the public. The actress is apparently starting with her social media accounts as reports have revealed that Selena Gomez has deleted the Instagram App on her smartphone.

Selena Gomez recently explained her decision in the April issue of Vogue magazine, where she reveals that she just felt bad every time she looked at her Instagram profile. The "Kill 'Em with Kindness" singer further revealed that the social media app was just too consuming for her and that she really became addicted to it to the point that it was what she would wake up and sleep to.

As of the moment, the person that is posting photos on her account is her personal assistant. According to Celebeat, the decision to delete the Instagram app on her smartphone came just after Selena Gomez apparently decided to seek treatment once again despite not having the serious symptoms she had before due to her lupus condition.

Selena Gomez previously stayed at a treatment facility for Lupus back in 2014. The actress also had to undergo several treatments for her condition's symptoms, which includes anxiety and depression. Selena Gomez recently even canceled her Revival tour for the summer, where it was revealed that Selena found the tour to be a "really lonely place."

As reported by Fox News, Selena Gomez is currently staying within the Valley and does not really go out as much as before. She is usually spotted just hanging out with close friends. Additionally, Gomez revealed that there are now actually less than 20 people that have her number and that she just can't wait until people totally forget about her. Her fame reportedly doesn't really help with her anxiety and depression and perhaps a more normal life would lead her to a faster recovery.
