When Alexis Bellino received a text from Tamra Barney in Monday's episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, requesting she meet up with her fellow co-star, Bellino was shocked.

“When I received the text from Tamra asking me to meet with her, I nearly dropped my phone!” Bellino wrote in her Bravo blog that day. “I instantly thought, heck no! Why would I meet with her again? Why will this time be any different?”

The reality star had not expected Barney to be agreeable in making up after their fight, which took place at a dinner party. Barney at the time acted out against Bellino and told her to leave the dinner she hosted. The scene ended with the latter claiming she was bullied by her co-star.

“I think it’s a natural feeling to have when I had extended the olive branch twice in the past and was shot down both times,” Bellino said. 

In her blog, she expressed how nervous she was about talking to Barney. She wrote: “Pulling up to the restaurant to meet Tamra, I felt my tummy do somersaults. I was so worried I may be humiliated once again, but it was too late. I was already there.”

The two made up in Monday's season 8 episode and after they spoke, Barney made an unexpected gesture by hugging Bellino.

“Then having her stand up to hug me… that was absolutely shocking and once again my chin hit the floor as a viewer watching it," Bellino said.

Although she said it is unlikely she will become and best friends with Barney, she wrote she felt they were able to start with a new beginning.
