Although Selena Gomez and The Weeknd haven't officially confirmed their relationship, the 24-year-old star already met Abel Tesfaye's family in Toronto, Canada. It looks like the alleged couple has no intention to slow down with their so-called romance as things seem to get more serious.

As Selena and The Weeknd were in his hometown in Canada, they took advantage of the moment to visit and meet his family. Allegedly, everything went well between the "It Ain't Me" hitmaker and his boyfriend's kin. In fact, she even got the approval of his mother and grandmother.

"He was thrilled for Selena to meet his family. They instantly took to Selena and they like her very much," a source told Heat Magazine. The Weeknd's family found his girlfriend very down to earth and friendly.

The Weeknd was also happy to known that Selena felt comfortable when they were still in Canada. The "Starboy" singer wanted to make sure that she would be able to relax while they stayed in his hometown as he was looking forward to living here with her.

Selena just proved that she can deal with the cold weather of Canada that made The Weeknd love her more. Moreover, since the pair has been spotted together in January, they are often caught together displaying major PDA.

In fact, according to Life & Style, Selena and The Weeknd's relationship is "very serious." An insider revealed that they are now exchanging "I love yous" and Abel even uses different languages, from French to Spanish, to express his love for Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend.

However, although they evidently love each other, as Selena often accompanies The Weeknd in his world tour, it seems they are not about to admit their relationship to the public. To recall, the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker revealed that whenever she spoke about her romances in the past, it all came back and bite her. Thus, she promised not to talk about her relationship again.
