Sources report that Amy Poehler may be dating fellow comedian Nick Kroll, her first relationship since separating from Will Arnett.

Poehler and Kroll were seen together at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in Hollywood on Thursday.

The 41-year-old actress walked the red carpet alone before Kroll joined her at her table. The pair was allegedly "super close and comfortable," an eyewitness told Us Weekly.

"They are so cute together," the source added.

Word first broke that the couple might be seeing each other in May, but Thursday was their first public appearance together.

"Things are going well," said another source, "They have a lot of fun together obviously and are both real big fans of each other."

Enstars previously reported that Arnett has been trying to work through the separation, but finds comfort in his two sons, 4-year-old Archie and 2-year-old Abel.

"All people have been doing since the dawn of time is trying to figure out how to live this life and be happy, " Arnett explained to Details magazine, "I'm no different. I'm 43, and I've found my happiness -- which is my kids."

He added that he was not "officially dating" anyone, though he won't be making a grand announcement if he does.

"Yeah, I don't know what you do," he admitted, "Do you put out an announcement in the trades? ''I'M DATING! It all seems very scary to me, to be honest. So I'm kind of keeping pretty close counsel right now," he said.

Arnett and Poehler separated in September 2012 after nine years of marriage. The couple shared the screen during the first season of Arrested Development in 2003.

Poehler, an SNL veteran, is currently starring in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, which was just renewed for its sixth season in May.

Kroll is a standup comedian who started his own show in 2013 for Comedy Central called Kroll Show. He also stars in the FX comedy The League.
