Thursday marked the release of dates for singer Justin Bieber's new Latin American tour.

But Venezuela-based Bielebers have been left feeling like they've been shunned.

According to a Billboard report Thursday, Bieber will begin touring Latin America on October 19, performing at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He will also appear at some of the region's other huge arenas, including Argentina's River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Mexico City's Foro Sol, and the Nacional Stadium in Santiago de Chile.

Venezuelan fans, however, have been left out in the cold, and they took to Twitter to air their grievances.

A fan attempted to bribe Bieber with the promise of "arepas, cachapas and oreos" if he performed there.

Another Caracas fan pleaded to the singer, "We need you here please come."

By the afternoon, #Venezuelawantsbelievetour was trending on Twitter.

Venezuela is not the only South American country that Bieber isn't scheduled to perform in: Uruguay and Peru were also left out, and fans from those countries launched their own Twitter campaigns.

The tour announcement comes towards the end of an eventful week for the singer.

Bieber has had several run-ins with paparazzi. Bieber and his security team threatened a news photographer from a local Mismi station at the Heat-Pacers Eastern Conference Finals Game 7.

On Wednesday, two incidents occurred involving Bieber and his security team and photographers. The singer was caught on tape allegedly threatening to remove a photographer's memory card from his camera. Later that day, Bieber's security team were alleged to have roughed up another photographer and taking his memory card.

Police are investigating the latter incident.

Bieber's personal life also took a turn, according to a HollywoodLife.com report Friday: the singer's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was spotted out with friends celebrating their split and resolving that she'll never go back to him.

"She's finally taken some of their advice to heart and swears it's finally over with him, for good," a source told Radar Online.

There is, however, a bit of good news in Bieber's life: he's going to space.

Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun have signed up for a ride on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo, according to Virgin Group chairman Richard Branson.

"Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts," tweeted Branson.

"Congrats, see you up there!"

Bieber retweeted the message, with Braun adding "im going to space momma!!"

Bieber is among the celebrities who have booked a spot on the program's list; others include Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie.
