While fans are hurling accusations at Taylor Swift for copying Beyonce’s Formation in her Look What You Made Me Do video, Swift’s video director has turned the tables on Queen Bey.

Joseph Kahn had no shame in breaking down his version of what really happened.

“I suddenly understood the conflict of what’s going on in society and what battle rap serves, what prism to look at the movie through,” Kahn said during a candid interview with The Los Angeles Times. “It’s not ‘Formation’ at all. They try to say she’s wearing a black crop top and Beyonce wore a black crop top.”

When it comes to the series of events, Kahn said the copycat game dates back to Swift’s Bad Blood video and said Beyonce was the actual perpetrator.

“But they don’t realize in 2015 in ‘Bad Blood,’ Taylor Swift was wearing a black crop top. I really do think, by the way, that Beyonce copied ‘Bad Blood.’”

Interestingly enough, it doesn’t look like the battle goes further than the case of who wore the black crop top first.

Kahn had nothing but jokes for Beyonce’s fans.

“If you’re a 15-year-old girl watching this movie, you’re going to cry and you’re going to think I’m an evil person,” he seemingly joked.

Still, Kahn is no stranger to Beyonce’s fan base and was all for the Beyhive virally attacking him on social media. In fact, he expected it.

“Come get it Beyhive,” he tweeted. “The candy is right here.”

On a side note, more Beyonce and Taylor Swift rumors are swirling as one insider claimed Beyonce would be interested in Swift doing a Kim Kardashian diss song.

“Beyonce is curious to see what Taylor may have in store for Kim Kardashian, as Taylor’s about to drop some new music,” an insider told Hollywood Life on August 24. “Kim could take a major L when Taylor drops her new song and Beyonce is intrigued by it all. Beyonce has always been a fan of Taylor’s music and will be grabbing some popcorn to watch the eruption of diss track drama, which may ensue online with Taylor’s new song.”

Well there is plenty of beef with the Kardashians, Carters, and Swifts to go around. But it doesn’t look like Beyonce will give Kahn’s accusations a second thought.
