Kailyn Lowry has finally chosen a name for her third child, who has been known as "Baby Lo" up until recently.

After revealing on Twitter that she would soon be announcing her third child's name with a monogrammed baby blanket, the Teen Mom 2 star has spoken out about the process of selecting a name for her baby boy.

“It’s not a family name or anything like that,” Lowry explained to Radar Online on September 22. “It’s something I stumbled across over the years and it kind of always was in the back of my mind.”

While Lowry has chosen a name for her son weeks after his August 5 birth, she is waiting to reveal the name to her fans and followers and hasn't yet made the selection official.

“I have not filled out legal paperwork yet,” the mother of three explained. “There is always room for me to change my mind on the name. That’s why I haven’t announced it yet. But once I do fill out the paper work I’m going to announce it.”

Earlier this week, Lowry and her friend, Bone Estrada, went to the hospital earlier this week to find a name for her son.

“Bone and I are at the hospital trying to name Baby Lo,” Lowry said over Snapchat. “We still don’t have a name so we’re going to go through these guys names on the wall.”

“Harry, John, Herman, Alan, Wallace, Maurice, Walton, James, that’s a no, Frederick is a no, Wayne, Edward, William, Robert, Tom,” she read.

She then revealed that a member of the hospital staff was ultimately the one who made the final selection for her baby.

“We had all the nurses put the potential names in a bag and had a nurse pick one and my top choice was picked,” Lowry revealed.
