The British wife of Harvey Weinstein, Georgina Chapman announced that she was leaving her husband after the growing list of sexual harassment accusations. The announcement comes after the explosive outbreak of the news of the 65-year-old Hollywood mogul accused of sexually harassing numerous women as reported by The New York Times.

Earlier Chapman had said that she was going to stand by her man and this had led the social media to boycott her label Marchesa. It seems that realization has struck upon her finally and she has said in a statement that, "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband."Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time," she added.

Weinstein first met Chapman at a party and had approached her in  2004, she told Vogue. At that point in time, she was a budding model and had just begun her fashion line and said that she had no idea of who the man really was but somehow his charm and charisma could not be brushed off as he made quite an impression on her. After that the duo dated for three years until in November 2007, they got engaged eventually marrying each other a month later in Connecticut. The gorgeous Brit beauty has her fashion label  Marchesa which is based out of NYC and this is where she also shoots Project Runaway stars.

Weinstein and Chapman have two children together daughter, India Pearl, 7, who was born in  2010 and a four-year-old son named Dashiell. In her recent statement, Chapman has said that her family is her top priority at the moment and she chose to split from her husband in the wake of the horrifying scandal.  Weinstein was married before and also has three children from his first marriage.

The disastrous revelation about the top-notch producer's deeds have shaken up Hollywood and lots of actresses have come forward to share their horrifying experiences with the mogul. Weinstein played an important role in launching the career of actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and  Angelina Jolie and both have now described how the producer wanted to take advantage of them when they had just started in the industry. Several other women went on record to spill the beans
