Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have broken up and made up several times throughout the past several years. However, according to a new report, they are determined to make their love stick this time around.

As the on-and-off couple continues to flaunt their recently reconciled relationship around Los Angeles, a source has spoken out suggesting that both Gomez and Bieber have agreed that if their relationship doesn't work this time around, they are going to go their separate ways for good.

“Justin and Selena are determined to make their relationship work this time around,” a source close to Gomez explained to Hollywood Life on Nov. 4. “Selena’s kidney transplant was a wake-up call for her and Justin—reminding them that life is precious and can be snatched away at any moment."

As fans of the "Bad Liar" singer will recall, Gomez confirmed in September that she had undergone a kidney transplant due to complications from her Lupus diagnosis. One year prior, Gomez announced she would be taking several months off after her Lupus diagnosis led her to struggle with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.

According to the Hollywood Life report, Gomez and Bieber have allegedly promised one another that they will prioritize their relationship with one another before their careers and continue to make as much time for one another as they can.

“Justin and Selena have matured emotionally from when they were last together, and have a much clearer idea of what’s important to them in life," the source continued. "When Justin and Selena dated previously, both of them took the other for granted, and neglected to put in the work that’s required to maintain a happy and healthy relationship."

Now, the insider continued, they have both discussed their future and what is important and made it clear that they are both in it to win it when it comes to making their latest reconciliation their final.

Gomez and Bieber went public with their reunion last month in Los Angeles and have been spotted together nearly every day for the past couple of weeks.

Before reuniting with Bieber, Gomez dated The Weeknd for 10 months and was reportedly happy with their relationship up until sometime last month. As for Bieber, he has been linked to several women in the years since his last split from Gomez but hasn't made things official with anyone else.
