Professional tennis star Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, are husband and wife! The two tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New Orleans Thursday.

The star-studded ceremony took place at the Contemporary Arts Center in the Big Easy. It touted a Beauty and the Beast theme for guests to enjoy.

Guests “were expected to dress to the theme,” one insider told Entertainment Tonight about the lavish ceremony.

Guests included Venus Williams, Lala, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Eva Longoria, Beyonce, Jay Z, Meghan Markle (who is dating Prince Harry) and of course Ohanian and Williams’ daughter who the couple welcomed two months ago.

The celebrities in attendance as well as Ohanian and Williams’ closest friends enjoyed a rendition of Be Our Guest from the hit Disney classic. Drinks were also served prior to the ceremony. Williams opted for a wardrobe change after she said, “I do,” and before she partied for the reception.

Inside The Pre-Wedding Festivities

Before the big day, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at Meril Restaurant. And the party didn’t end with the reception, Ohanian and Williams went on to have a “full-blown brunch at the Ace Hotel” the day after the ceremony. It featured a professional DJ, games and even a recovery bar.

Williams and Ohanian sparked their romance back in 2015. They took to none other than Reddit to let fans know they were engaged in December 2016. Their daughter, Alexis, was born on Sept. 1, 2017.

It looks like they also had a fairytale engagement ahead of the wedding. Williams recalled on the Reddit website that she arrived at home one night only to find a suitcase that someone had already packed for her. Aside from a special carriage that was also waiting for her, was an invitation to go to Rome.

Williams revealed to fans that they sat at the exact same table where they were first introduced to one another when Ohanian popped the question.

Williams reportedly hosted a special girls weekend with her closest friends earlier this month. Word is this was her bachelorette festivities. Lala, Venus, and Ciara were spotted at the quiet celebration. They enjoyed five-star spa treatments, fancy tea brunches, and dancing the night away as they stayed at Baccarat Hotel & Residences, according to PEOPLE magazine recently.
