Stassi Schroeder Enjoys Time With Friends After Me Too Podcast Controversy

Stassi Schroeder faced scandal last week after downplaying the claims of many women who have gone public with sexual assault allegations as part of the Me Too movement online.

As fans have likely heard, the Vanderpump Rules star faced the wrath of her critics after going on a rant about the issue during a now-deleted taping of Straight Up With Stassi. In fact, several of her sponsors pulled their ads from all future episodes.

While Schroeder had a rough week, she attended the Season 6 premiere of Vanderpump Rules earlier this week. After doing so, she shared a photo of herself, Katie Maloney, and Kristen Doute, enjoying one another's company at the event.

"Let’s all take a moment of silence for Kristen’s Victoria’s Secret model leg," Schroeder wrote in the caption of a photo shared on Instagram on Dec. 1.

The entire cast of the show attended the event and many of them posted images of one another online. Luckily, Schroeder was able to enjoy herself despite the ongoing controversy her podcast episode has caused.

While the shocking episode of Straight Up With Stassi was ultimately deleted, a transcript has since been revealed to curious fans who wanted to know exactly what the longtime star said that was so offensive to her audience.

“A lot of them are more than willing to go to that hotel room. I’m sorry, no one can make me s**k someone’s ****. I don’t understand," Schroeder said, according to All About the Real Housewives.

"My opinion on a lot of these…there are ways to get out of it. It’s the easiest thing to just be like no no no. But I’ve been reading all these stories of women who they were making out with this person and then they were forced to go **** on him. That sounds like he thought you liked it right because you were making out with him but now years later when it’s now a trend to say #metoo you’re going to come out and say that you were sexually assaulted because you felt embarrassed that you did that,” she continued.

Stassi Schroeder and her co-stars, including Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, and Lisa Vanderpump, return to Bravo TV on December 4 at 9 p.m for Vanderpump Rules Season 6.
