Meghan Markle has been keeping a low profile ever since the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry.

But with Christmas right around the corner, the world may get a sneak peek of what it will be like when Markle actually joins the royal family.

Spending Christmas with future in-laws might be normal for most, but for the royal family, it's a total break in tradition.

Well, some rules are just meant to be broken. That's right! Markle will be joining the royal family for Christmas this year.

Markle has already met Queen Elizabeth on a few occasions and she had no problem winning over her dogs too.

In the couple's engagement interview, Prince Harry revealed, "I've spent 33 years being barked at, this one walks in, absolutely nothing."

If the dogs love her and so does Queen Elizabeth, why wouldn't she spend Christmas the royal family?

Markle, who has two dogs herself replied, "they were laying on my feet during tea."

The couple has also had their fair share of visits with Harry's father, Prince Charles.

"The family together have been a solid support and my grandparents as well have been wonderful throughout this whole process," Harry added.

The palace hasn't confirmed as details as to where Markle will stay, but Kate and William live two miles away at their Anmer Hall estate.

On Christmas Eve, the group exchanges gifts and then attends church at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas.

Markle will join the Queen at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk, about 110 miles north of London.

In other words, a regular Christmas Day has been canceled. Well maybe not canceled, but everyone will be patiently waiting to see photos of Markle, Harry, Kate, and William in one place.

The real question is: what will Markle get the royal family for Christmas?
