Cardi B continues to make history, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper, left Jimmy Fallon speechless after her interview with the host on Wednesday night.

Fallon began by congratulating the rapper and all of her success in 2017. Starting with her hit track "Bodak Yellow," which topped the Billboard Charts and is the first single to hit number one from a female rapper since 1998 and went platinum three times.

Cardi B thanked him by making silly sound effects such as, Okurrrr!

While the audience laughed, Fallon had no idea on how to proceed with the interview, but joined in on the sound effects with the rapper.

The Tonight Show host, continued the interview by asking Cardi B about the origins of her name.

Cardi B Stole The Show

"My sister name is Hennessy, right? So, everybody used to call me Bacardi. So, I always call myself Bacardi, right?" Cardi B said.

The rapper formerly known as, Belcalis Almanzar, further explained that the nickname eventually became her Instagram name.

"Then it was my Instagram name, Bacardi B, but for some reason, my Instagram kept getting deleted; I think it was Bacardi that had something to do with it so I just shortened it to Cardi B," the rapper continued.

Cardi B Doesn't Want To Be Santa This Year

Fallon could not contain his laughter as the former Love & Hip Hop star began to explain why she refused to buy adults Christmas gifts. The recording artist explained that her fame has caused her to become everyone's godmother, so she has too many gifts to give out this year.

Fallon also congratulated Cardi on her engagement to Migos rapper, Offset. The two gushed about her half a million dollar engagement ring and how Offset proposed to her at the Powerhouse 99 Philadelphia concert in October.

As if that wasn't enough, her latest feature, "Motorsport," alongside Migos and Nicki Minaj, climbed to number six on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Cardi is the first female rapper to have three singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

The songwriter also announced that she has a new single with rapper, 21 Savage called "Bartier Cardi" that is set to release on Friday.
