Prince Harry and former president Barack Obama are hardly strangers. The pair met while Obama was in office and recently reunited for an in-depth interview. The interview took place back in September and was broadcasted on Dec. 26 for BBC Radio 4 Today.

Though the interview touched on important issues that are affecting the world today, it also showed that the royals and even the president are no different from us.

Harry And Obama

His royal highness and the former leader of the United States chatted about Obama's life after presidency. Obama, who was succeeded by now-president, Donald Trump, stated that he felt a sense of "serenity" when Trump took over. Obama also felt that, in the eight years he served in office, his administration had a good run.

"I think it was a satisfying feeling. That was mixed with all the work that was still undone. Concerns about how the country moves forward but, you know, overall there was serenity there. More than I would have expected," Obama stated.

Obama also acknowledged and thanked his wife, Michelle, for standing by him during the years at the White House. The former president noted that politics wasn't his wife's area of expertise, but she did an amazing job with helping him navigate through some of the tougher choices.

The prince and the former president touched on the effects of cyberbullying and trolling that become a major issue on social media and if Obama should have done more to combat those problems.

"I'm not sure government can legislate that, but what I do believe is that all of us in leadership have to find ways in which we can recreate common space on the internet," Obama commented.

Monica Or Rachel?

The interview turned to a lighter note when Prince Harry asked Obama about his preferences, from basketball athletes to his favorite sitcoms. Obama didn't hold back as he told the royal prince he preferred Michael Jordan over LeBron James since he is from Chicago.

In reference to sitcoms, Obama likes Rachel better than Monica from FRIENDS. As for his favorite show? Obama stated Suits was his top choice, which the Prince agreed was a good answer.
