As details about the royal wedding start to emerge, one of the biggest questions that had remained unanswered was: how did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle meet?

Well, the mystery matchmaker who set Meghan Markle up on the ultimate blind date has been revealed!

In their first interview together last year, Harry admitted that he and Markle were introduced by a secret friend.

While the two stated that they would protect her privacy, many speculated that the person behind Markle and Harry's love story was Markle's best friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney.

Others suspected that it could have been Misha Nonoo, who was married to one of Harry's best friends.

Another "obvious" suspect was Markus Anderson, Markle's best friend who reportedly accompanied the two during one of their first official outings at the Invictus Games in September 2017.

The Royal Matchmaker

According to E! News, those speculations were wrong! The mystery matchmaker is actually Harry's childhood friend, Violet von Westenholz.

Westenholz's dad is very close to Harry and she has been a friend of his for years.

According to a source, Harry was having a really hard time finding love.

"It was something he had confided in his closest friends about; he was ready to meet someone but it was so hard to actually find the right person," a source for E! News stated.

That was until Violet and Markle met. The two became friends through Westenholz PR work with Ralph Lauren.

It has been reported that Markle had been a part of the London social scene and when Harry told Westenholz he was having trouble finding someone, Westenholz thought Markle would be the perfect girl for him.

Fast forward to now and the pair is currently only four months away from their big day.

Four Months Until The Royal Wedding

Westenholz may have been the secret matchmaker behind Harry and Markle's love story, but it is no secret that Mulroney is assisting with the process of helping the Suits alum find the perfect dress.

Markle had her first fitting with the top-secret designer and has looked through several designs.

As details begin to surface, there have been reports that some high-profile guests will be on the guest list, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, first lady Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, and tennis pro Serena Williams.

The royal wedding and reception will be held at the St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.
