January Jones shatters her silence as she finally dispels rumors of her dating Bachelor star Nick Viall and adding they are only friends.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old actress opens up about the true nature of her relationship with Viall.

"He's a friend of mine. He's super sweet," Jones told Entertainment Tonight correspondent Keltie Knight. "No, I'm single. But, he's a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops."

Jones is a guest at the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Variety, and WWD's inauguration of the Runway to Red Carpet Initiative at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Not Quite The Lover

Last month, speculations of the two dating together spread as Jones celebrated her birthday with Viall together with other Mad Men stars. A source confirmed that the rumored couple was indeed spending time with each other, but things are just casual.

Jones, who is also a single mother of one, said in March 2017 that it was her dream to join the hit reality show Bachelor.

"I've been grooming myself for it," Jones admitted on The Late, Late Show with James Corden. She added that she likes the idea of dating former Bachelor celebrity Ben Higgins.

A few months later on the same show, Jones revealed that Viall had communicated to her through her production team. The 37-year-old bachelor had broken up with former fiancée and Bachelor grand winner Vanessa Grimaldi in August 2017.

Since the controversial split, Viall was open about having a new relationship. In an interview at the Art of Elysium's Heaven Celebration in Santa Monica, California, he said he was dating other people but chose to keep mum about the details.

Love-Hate Fondness

Jones revealed that Viall had invited her to do Lip Sync Battle, but she was not certain of his motive behind it.

"You don't know if you like him or if he's a scumbag - and I think that's why I'm attracted to him, maybe?" the Mad Men actress told show host James Corden.

"So is that like, his way of asking me out, or does he have a problem with me? I don't know what that was. But I declined because I don't need to be humiliated," Jones continued.

In January, Viall had liked almost all of Jones' posts on Instagram. In the same manner, Jones reacted on the actor's tuxedo photo with a heart and eye-roll emoji.
