After being separated for almost five years now, it appears that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom hold no hard feelings for each other.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the former NBA star opened up about his ex-wife's pregnancy and although it may be surprising, he had nothing but nice things to say.

When asked how he felt when he heard Kardashian was expecting, Odom stated that he couldn't be happier for her.

"I know if she could take care of a grown man for four years the way she took care of me, I know she could take care of a baby," the 38-year-old remarked.

The athlete also joked that Khloe's child would be spoiled, implying that the new mom would make sure her son or daughter would have everything they need.

As previously reported, Khloe is expecting her first child with her boyfriend and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson.

After months of speculation, Khloe took to Instagram to announce the news of her pregnancy in December last year. The Revenge Body star shared a photo of her and Thompson's hands around her baby bump.

"My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along," Khloe wrote.

Although Odom had good things to say about the Good American designer, he explained that he was also hurt by Khloe's recent comments about their relationship.

In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the 33-year-old revealed that she "fake-tried" to have children with Odom. Khloe further explained that she stopped her fertility treatments because there were deep issues occurring within their marriage.

Odom understood where she was coming from, but he found her comments to be insensitive.

"That was hurtful, but I was going through some things at the time, so I didn't really take it too personally," Odom said.

As fans can recall, Khloe filed for divorce from Odom in July 2015 after seven years of marriage. Three months later, Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was in a coma for four days, which caused Khloe to withdraw her pending divorce petition. However, the former couple finalized their divorce in December 2016.

While Odom's comments regarding Khloe's pregnancy may come as a surprise, he recently threw shade at his ex-wife. During his appearance on BET's Mancave, Odom said that even though they have been separated for some time now, he still has Khloe's initials tattooed on him. However, when asked when did he realize their relationship was over, Odom stated that it was when Khloe was on to her second or third basketball player.

Khloe did not respond to Odom's comment, but her big sister Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to clap black at her former brother-in-law.
