Even Mark Salling's death could not hinder his ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela from asking $2.7 million settlement from his estate.

Gorzela filed for a creditor's claim against the Glee star's estate, stating he owed her $2.7 million from the sexual assault case she won against the actor. The case stemmed from a 2011 incident, when Salling allegedly coerced her to have an unprotected intercourse with him.

After the incident, Gorzela had to confront him of what happened and they got into an altercation, which prompted Salling to push her to the ground. The accuser officially filed for a case in January 2013. As of writing, Salling's camp has no statement.

Salling took his own life near his house in California late January. He was 35.

His death came while he was awaiting sentence for his child pornography case. Salling was arrested in December 2015 after the Los Angeles Police Department was tipped by a former girlfriend of disturbing contents on his gadgets.

Police saw thousands of explicit contents on his laptop, flash drive, and hard drive. But what's even more harrowing is that, the subject were children. In October last year, Salling finally admitted possession of child pornography.

He went into a plea deal in December, and was sentenced to be locked behind bars for four to seven years, instead of 20 years. However, a month before the sentence was to take effect, he hanged himself.

Self-harm

At the height of the chaos, TMZ once reported that Salling had cut himself. The outlet narrated the actor panicked and called for his roommate who in turn dialed 911.

He was taken to a hospital, and after a few days, was entered into a rehab, citing psychological problems. It was linked to the actor's preference of sweatshirts and long sleeves, despite the heat. However, Salling's camp denied he hurt himself.

"Mark is physically fine and Mark is spending his time atoning and working on himself," his lawyer said back then.

'Glee' Reunion

Salling was known for his role as bad boy, school bully, Noah Puckerman, or simply Puck, in the musical series Glee. The show also starred Lea Michele as Rachel Berry, Matthew Morrison as instructor Will Schuester, Jane Lynch, who played Sue Sylvester, and the late Cory Monteith as Finn Hudson.

Of late, the cast of Glee got together a month after Salling's death. Morrison shared a photo on his Instagram account. Obviously missing were Michele and Darren Chris.

"It's a GLEE-Union!! What a beautiful night hangin with my old kids & new kid! Ohana," Morrison wrote.
