Selena Gomez is allegedly the target of a diss track from The Weeknd, and according to a new report, it has her second-guessing their time together.

Gomez reportedly feels completely burned by her former boyfriend of 10 months but is so happy that she decided against teaming up with The Weeknd on a duet during the time they dated.

“Selena is relieved she never did a collab with her ex, Abel [The Weeknd]. After his latest diss track, she feels pretty burned by him right now, and she questions the sincerity of his love and their relationship,” a source close to the 25-year-old "Bad Liar" singer told Hollywood Life.

Gomez began dating The Weeknd in January of last year. Throughout their romance, fans wondered if they would ever team up on a song together. Luckily, especially now that they've gone through a messy split, they never did so.

Selena Considered A Song With The Weeknd

While Gomez and The Weeknd never released any music together, the Hollywood Life insider said they considered doing so and even tossed a few ideas around for a potential duet. As fans well know, Gomez and The Weeknd enjoyed a months-long fling that included tons of traveling and happy moments. Now, however, after The Weeknd seemingly slammed their romance as a "mistake," Gomez wonders if any of it was real.

“She is disappointed at his level of pettiness and is glad she doesn’t have a big hit song with him to remind her of their relationship,” the source continued.

In one of The Weeknd's latest tracks, the musician sings about how he nearly cut a piece out of himself for a former girlfriend, who seemed to be using him only as a "pit stop." Although he didn't mention Gomez by name, many believe the lyrics were in reference to her kidney transplant and reunion with Justin Bieber.

Selena Rebounded With Ex Justin Bieber

Prior to the end of her romance with The Weeknd being confirmed, Gomez turned up in Los Angeles with Justin Bieber and confirmed they were back on just weeks later. They then turned up in a number of different locations, including Mexico and Jamaica, before calling it quits yet again in March of this year.

Gomez and Bieber first began dating in 2010 and continued to date exclusively until two years later. Since then, they have been on and off as they've also been linked to a number of other people.
