As Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola would not be joining her fellow roommates for the reboot of Jersey Shore, the cast didn't waste any time trying to find someone to take her place.

Giancola had told fans that she would not be joining the cast reunion for the popular MTVseries, which would be called Jersey Shore: Family Vacationbecause she wanted to continue to focus on business and her new relationship.

Sammi's Replacement

As to her replacement -- no, it wasn't Angelina Pivarnick, who was originally on the show. Her replacement was actually a manikin doll.

The doll was dressed up as the former reality star and even said some of her infamous phrases such as, "Stahp it Rahn."

Well for those wondering how Giancola felt about her stand-in, the 31-year-old actually wasn't at the least fazed by the joke.

Giancola's close friend and cast member of the series, Deena Nicole Cortese, gave her a heads up about the prank once they wrapped up filming the season.

"Me and Sam are super close, so as soon as I got home, I said, 'Listen girl, there's a Sammi doll in the house.' She was like, 'I'm not surprised.' She knows how it works and I think she's going to deal with it pretty well," Cortese explained.

The mastermind behind the "Sammi doll" was none other than the cast's ultimate prankster, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio.

Delvecchio also known as Pauly D stated that he opted for the stand-in because he wanted to lighten the mood. However, he hopes the joke would not affect their relationship.

Sammi 'Sweetheart' Moves On

Ahead of the premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Giancola took to Instagram to open up about why she refused the offer to reunite with her cast mates.

Fans of the show know that Giancola was in an on-again, off-again relationship with her roommate, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, for years, but their relationship officially ended in 2016 due to Oritz-Magro's infidelity.

The cast later revealed that Giancola doesn't want to be anywhere Ortiz-Magro, which led her to opt out.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premieres on Thursday on MTV at 8 p.m.
