Some of the contestants on Big Brother 15 have received national attention for a series of racist, sexist and homophobic comments made over the weekend.

Those who have bought the 24/7 live feeds have seen multiple contestants making jokes targeted at the minorities in the house. Some of the worst offenders include 22-year-old Aaryn Gries of San Angelo, Texas, 32-year-old GinaMarie Zimmerman of Staten Island, N.Y. and 31-year-old Spencer Clawson of Conway, Ark.

During a discussion of the various houseguests on June 29, Aaryn and GinaMarie bashed most of the minority houseguests. They called out Andy Herren who is openly gay, Helen Kim, who is Asian American, and Candice Stewart, who is African American. Aaryn called Andy a queer, saying that the public will vote for him for MVP since "people love the queers." She added, "no one's going to vote for whoever that queer puts up."

When discussing Helen, Aaryn said "Dude, shut up, go make some rice," and GinaMarie made a comment about setting Helen's eyes straight. Later in the night, GinaMarie said that blacks tend to stick together since they're the "tokens" in the house and said that Candice's "blackness" is showing now that she's not on the chopping block.

Spencer has used the "c-word" on multiple occasions in reference to women, called Helen "Kim Jong-Un" and praised Nazi doctors for their medical breakthroughs. He also called Andy "Kermit the f*g" to his face, though they both laughed at the comment.

The rampant racism, sexism and homophobia in the house comes at a time when profiling and marginalization is being talked about on the national scale. Paula Deen was fired on June 21 after admitting to allegations in a deposition that she used the "n-word" on multiple occasions as well as other racist comments. The George Zimmerman trial is being held this week with heavy discussion about racial profiling regarding the murder of Trayvon Martin.

In response to the controversy, Big Brother 12 contestant Ragan Fox wrote an open letter Sunday to Big Brother production, asking them to air all of the offensive comments made in the house to "show HOW CBS VIEWERS HOW SOME STRAIGHT, WHITE PEOPLE talk about gays, Asian Americans, and African Americans."

Big Brother 15 airs Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on CBS and will air live Wednesday night at 8 p.m., so fans will have to wait and see if the show addresses the comments on the national scale.
