It's official, Kanye West loves Donald Trump, the controversial 45th U.S. president, at least as per his conversation with HOT 97's Ebro Darden.

The rapper's appearances with the mogul can now be justified, thanks to his not-so chill revelations of late. Recently, West was heavily criticized for praising Candace Owens, who ridiculed Black Lives Matter and is a staunch supporter of Trump, saying he likes how she thinks.

In a phone call by Darden, he got the chance to talk with the 40-year-old Yeezy designer. He talked about mostly what he wanted to point out to people, which can be easily deduced from his tweets. He further talked about his decision to appreciate Owens, who he said was "challenging black thought." However, a confirmation of what has been believed to be true was underlined during the call.

"I love Donald Trump," West said as quoted by the radio personality.

Darden didn't share the audio recording of the conversation but he seemed firm that West had said those things, much to the shock of the other DJs. Finally, it can be said that the "Heartless" singer loves Trump and his previous show of support to the Chief Executive was because he was a fan of the president.

As to why he loved Trump, West stressed that he "reached out to Obama for years and couldn't get anything done, but Trump gave me a meeting." He also explained that nobody cared for him when he got addicted to opioids, which the radio show host denounced.

2016 Meeting

Darden then pointed out that he was played by Trump, as they didn't have a "real meeting." West and the president met at the government official's house in New York in 2016 after the mogul just snatched the presidency against Hillary Clinton, sparking a wave of controversy. On what they talked about, the "FourFiveSeconds" singer revealed it was about a multitude of issues that range from bullying to education to violence.

At one of his show, West also said that he would cast his ballot for Trump, had he voted during the past election. Audience booed and cajoled the rapper, who went on to justify his decision.

It basically isn't a new revelation for West, as his actions spoke more than what he said out loud. However, the recent news just affirmed rumors and theories about his political beliefs.
