West, 40, is back in the public eye, but it's hard to tell if it's a good move on his part, as the "Famous" rapper has been firing off worrisome tweets on social media. Reports of him cutting off contact from several people close to him — friends, managers, and lawyers — add fuel to the fire, spurring speculation that West is on a downward spiral.

Everyone, particularly the Kardashian-Jenner clan, is getting extremely worried for West, an insider tells People. His behavior may even be causing conflict between him and his extended family.

"He's had huge blow-ups with Kris. She sees how erratic he's acting and is most concerned about her daughter's brand," the source says. "She's also trying to be a good mother-in-law, so he's having explosive issues with her too."

A representative for the Kardashian-Jenner group did not respond to comment.

However, another report disputes the buzz about the tension between West and the family. Sources tell Entertainment Tonight that the pair are actually on great terms and continue to spend time with each other.

"Kris and Kanye have an amazing relationship," one insider explains, saying that the rumors of a blow-up aren't true at all. "They even spent all of yesterday together. They vibe so well together and inspire one another."

Since his sudden return to social media in the past week, West has been going all out with his Twitter. The acclaimed musician's tweets offer a peek at his stream of consciousness from philosophical quotes to posts praising himself.

There's one tweet praising Trump supporter Candace Owens, followed with a radio interview confirming his support for President Donald Trump.

Another tweet even caught the eye of his wife Kim Kardashian West.

There may be nothing to worry about, though. This strange mood isn't exactly out of the ordinary for West, a source close to the rapper says in another report from People.

"He's always been like that," the source adds. "Kanye's definitely the most genius and eccentric and erratic person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing."
