The greatest marriages are built on mutual respect. As of now, Kim Kardashian is on the process of accepting the new changes brought about by her better half's religious awakening.

Kanye West, 42, has recently found a new self with his religion, and of course, several changes have ensued. The rapper has since implemented some major changes within their household. On the October 13 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," a fight even broke out between the couple in connection to Kardashian's fashion choice for the 2019 Met Gala.

On a previous interview with E! News, the reality star admitted that West's new conservative rules are causing tension in their household. He is adamant on making a change in their family, extending even to the use of cosmetics of their eldest daughter. There was even a report that West is outright "controlling" his wife.

On her visit on Tuesday's episode of "The Real," the reality star shared the compromises she had to make for her five-year husband.

"I obviously want to honor him and what he's feeling," said the KUWTK star. "And he's been going through this life change."

Kardashian noted how West is evolving as a father. According to her, he has become more cautious of what they have in their home. Aside from getting rid of makeup for North, they also got rid of the televisions in their children's rooms.

Furthermore, the "Jesus Is King" artist has also become "a little bit more strict as a dad" and "forceful on the imagery that's in the household."

Despite admitting to agree with her husband's decisions, Kim reassured everyone that she is doing her best to remain reasonable and true to herself.

"I'm always going to be me," Kardashian said. "So, we had that discussion and that fight. I think, at the end of the day, that's what marriage is. He's going to do things that I don't agree with and I support him and vice versa."

The mother of four also credited her husband's religious awakening with his new approach to parenthood.

"Just where he has gone in his life and maybe things that he did a year ago, he probably wouldn't be doing today," Kim further shared, noting that she loved that beautiful journey and the fact that it has become a great example for their kids.

"But, you know, there's also a fine line of staying firm and doing what you feel comfortable with. And I take a little bit of him and I hear what he's saying and I totally compromise," she added.
