Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) is closer than ever to tracking down his serial killer nemesis Red John.

While fans wait for season 6 to air, little hints from showrunners and writers have speculation running high.

At the end of season 5, Lorelei Martins left Jane a list of seven names- Bret Stiles, Gale Bertram, Ray Haffner, Reede Smith, Bob Kirkland, Sheriff Thomas McAllister and Brett Partridge. Jane was not unfamiliar with these names as these were the seven suspects he had already whittled his search for the serial killers identity down to.

However, this seems to present a problem for Jane. While creator Bruno Heller tells Entertainment Weekly that viewers can trust that Martins' list is correct, other sources predict that Jane will have serious doubts about whether his predictions, and therefore that of the list, are actually true, according to International Business Times.

"But they're all legitimate suspects, and next season we will have to work out which one is the real guy," Heller assures viewers, according to TV Guide.

Meanwhile, Lisbon (Robin Tunney) promised to keep the list a secret but she is going to have a bit of trouble keeping her feelings hidden when she knows that her boss, Gale Bertram (Michael Gaston), could potentially be the killer.

The International Business Times claims that Cho (Tim Kang) will notice Lisbon's odd behavior and begin to make conclusions of his own. Whether these conclusions align with those of Jane and Lisbon, viewers will have to wait and see.
