'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 6 Star NeNe Leakes Reveal Filming After Wedding & Honeymoon
Filming has begun for Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, according to two of the show's stars, NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss.
Burruss was the first to leak the news that Bravo began filming Season 6 of TRHOA when she posted a photo on Instagram on June 29 of a cameracrew filming at a secret location. Burruss captioned the picture,"I'm still working & I've been up since the crack of dawn & still working.....I'm sleepy."
A week later, Leakes confirmed she will begin filming the reality show on Twitter on July 8. "Back n the A! it's that time again! i start shooting Housewives of Atlanta this week! I'm exhausted thinking abt it," She wrote
Leakes was referring to her recent vacation with her husband Gregg Leaes who she wed a second time on June 22. She shared pictures of them together during their trip on Twitter on July 6.
"Chill-laxing wit the hubby," she captioned their vacation picture on Twitter. NeNe added more details in a second tweet: "Having a cocktail sitting n our pajamas on the balcony looking & listening to the ocean!#heaven," she wrote.
Nene and Gregg were spotted by paparazzi in Miami during the Fourth of July weekend. In the Miami pictures, NeNe tried to shield her face from the cameras pointed in her direction.
When the couple wed last month, NeNe wore a $50,000 white Baracci dress for their $1.8 million nuptials held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta. Gregg slipped a 10-carat diamond band ring on her finger next to her 15.2 carat engagement ring as Judge Mathis of Judge Mathis TV show fame officiated.

The wedding and the planning up to the big day was filmed for her spinoff reality show, I Dream Of Nene: The Wedding.
A week after their wedding, NeNe showed off her huge diamond sparkler rings during a lunch date with her bridesmaid and TRHOA co-star Cynthia Bailey at The Ivy in Los Angeles on June 30.
