It appears the Predator franchise is gearing up to add a new addition to its ranks.

The Facebook page for the series previous film Predators posted an image today alluding to the fact that there will be an announcement regarding a new film at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Predators was released in 2010 and at that time producer Robert Rodriguez stated that there would be a fourth sci-fi horror flick from the franchise but there has been little news since, according to Comic Book Movie.

The new image for the film shows an infa-red shot of several city blocks near Petco Park, according to Comic Book Movie. Near the site of this year's Comic-Con, the image led to early rumors that the film would make an appearance at the annual con.

"There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man...we're all gonna die," reads the image, accompanied by the tag #HUNTthePREDATOR

Later, the Predators Facebook page was updated with a unlettered image and the message 'The Predator is coming...#SDCC."

Comic-Con visitors will be sure to hear some news of the impending film and perhaps find out the title and possible casting for the next Predator installment.
