Snooki Weight Loss Secrets: 'I Work Out Every Single Day,' 'Jersey Shore' Star Reveals [EXCLUSIVE]
Since giving birth to baby Lorenzo last August, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is focused on getting in tip-top shape.
"I work out every single day, and at this point, I'm obsessed," she told EnStars at SELF Magazine's Rock The Summer event in New York City on Tuesday. "It's like my aphrodisiac."
Polizzi, who works out with her personal trainer Anthony Michael, said that she enjoys toning up her arms and back muscles. Aside from her vigorous daily training, she's also focused on healthy eating.
"I love my chicken and vegetables, salads and fruits," she said.
The star, who wore a black leather skirt and white bustier to the event, also offered some advice for others who might desire to get into shape.
"Don't eat McDonalds or Burger King," she joked. "Basically just eat a lot of grilled stuff."
Still, the former Jersey Shore star did admit to her one guilty pleasure: ice cream. Her favorite flavor is Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, she noted. Polizzi admitted that she indulges in the dessert every night.
Despite her ice cream cravings, Polizzi's commitment to her workout regime has definitely stimulated results. The star dropped almost 50 pounds since giving birth 11 months ago to her firstborn. Her weight loss sparked anorexia rumors but the current redhead quickly shot down those accusations.
With all the fitness tweets and videos she posts, it's not hard to believe that the 25-year-old has truly become an exercise buff.
For example, she posted a video on her personal website on Wednesday titled "Workout Wednesday." In the clip, the star demonstrates a few squats while wearing bright pink sneakers. She deems them the "dreaded squats."
"You can do them at home, in the gym, anywhere to get that nice shape in your butt," she says in the clip. "You know, it's supposed to sting, it's stinging me right now."
